AGENCY STAFF

The Corporate Officers

Mark Bollinger, CPCU, AAI - Mark started working in the insurance industry when he graduated from Bridgewater College. In 1990 he completed the requirements for Charter Property and Casualty Underwriter designation (CPCU) and earned the Accredited Advisory of Insurance (AAI) in 1994. Mark is past president of the Carroll County Association of Independent Insurance Agents, has served on the Agents Advisory Board of Brethren Mutual and Ohio Casualty Insurance Companies and is on the Advisory Board of New Windsor State Bank. He specializes in homeowners, farmowners and automobile coverages, while serving as agency comptroller.

David S. Bollinger, CPCU, CIC - A graduate of Salisbury State College, Dave was awarded the CPCU designation in 1991 and the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC)designation in 1997. He has been an Advisory Board Member of five insurance companies. He has served as Chairman of the Board of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce and is currently on the Board of Trustees for Carroll Community College and Carroll Lutheran Village. Dave also serves on the Advisory Board of PNC Bank. Since joining the team in 1978, Dave has specialized in marketing and servicing business accounts.

Commercial Lines Producer

Ann Bollinger - Ann was initially licensed in all lines of insurance in 1976 as an agent with Horace Mann Educators. She has been in and out of the industry ever since and joined the agency in March, 2007 upon her return home to Carroll County.

Commercial Lines Customer Support

Shirley Foster, ACSR - Shirley received her ACSR (Associate Customer Service Representative) Designation in March 1999 and has been with the agency since August 1994. She has been licensed since July 1995.

Dawn Deal - Dawn has worked in insurance since 1985. She worked with CNA Insurance for 9 years and has worked in various agencies in and around Baltimore. She has been licensed since 1995. She has taken INS, CISR & ACSR courses as she plans to start her CIC early next year.

Cynthia Englar, AIS - Cynthia has been in the insurance industry since 1985 with experience in Commercial Claims, Commercial Lines CSR and Personal Lines CSR. She has been licensed since 2001 and has the AIS (Associate Insurance Services) designation.

Shelley Bangerd - Shelley has been with Barnes-Bollinger Insurance since August 2002 and was licensed in October 2002.

Molly Sacco - Molly has been with Barnes-Bollinger Insurance since October 2005 and licensed since May of 2002.

Personal Lines Customer Support

Norma Reed - Norma was with Farmers Mutual Insurance of Dug Hill for 20 years and has been with Barnes-Bollinger since June 2003. She was licensed in July 1993.

Tracey Seibel - Tracey has worked in the insurance industry for over 13 years. She has worked for companies such as The Maryland Insurance Group, USF&G, and Federated Insurance. She obtained her ACSR designation in January 2007.

Robin Miller - Robin joined the agency in September of 2007. She acquired her Property & Casualty license in June of 2007 and formerly worked for Farmers Mutual of Dug Hill.

Life & Health Producer

Tarhy Alford - Tarhy joined the agency in 2004 and specializes in life, group medical, and estate planning.

Life & Health Customer Support

Patricia Hood - Patricia joined Barnes-Bollinger and has been licensed in Life & Health since 2000.

Receptionist

Beverly Kinser - Beverly was born & raised in Carroll County. She graduated from Westminster High School and has worked in insurance since 1983. She has been licensed and working as an administrative person for BBIS since 1997.
